HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR TRAINER AT A GYM?
I've acquired a significant amount of education and hands-on working experience and knowledge in my 30 years of personal training. I offer my clients a razor sharp focus when it comes to their movements and proper form to avoid injuries as well as support fitness from a rehabilitation standpoint. My brand of movement and deep core engagement and strengthening is second to none.
WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
You can get a great workout without any equipment at all! I've got a huge repertoire of techniques to help you increase your strength, endurance, mobility, flexibility and balance. However if you do have equipment that's great too! Before we work together I'll find out what you have and incorporate that into our sessions together.
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND NUTRITION PLANS?
I focus on what I'm great at - and that's personal training and fitness coaching for women over 40. I am not a nutritionist or dietitian. I can however support you with some of the basics and refer you on to some exceptional professionals who can help you with nutrition.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A SESSION? OR, WHAT IF I'VE PURCHASED A PACKAGE BUT DECIDE I DON'T WANT IT AFTER ALL?
No problem. First of all I understand being a busy business owner and a mom that life happens. Heck you don't need to be either for life to happen! So once you book a session, so long as you give me 6 hours notice to cancel and/or reschedule (or log in to your account to do it yourself!) it's ok. If you buy a package and change your mind, you have 24 hours to cancel for a refund (LESS a 3% administration fee) so long as NO sessions have been used yet.
HOW DOES IT WORK ONCE I SIGN UP AND PAY?
If you're purchasing a single 30 or 45 minute personal training session from my website you'll receive a private Zoom link which we'll use to access your session. If you're unfamiliar with Zoom you will need to install it on whichever device(s) you'll be using to see me for our remote session. Then it's as simple as clicking the link and we're good to go!
If you've purchased a 5 or 10 pack I'll be in touch with your Zoom link (which will be the same for all of our sessions).
WHAT DO I NEED TO SET UP FOR OUR SESSION?
Well to start with I recommend that you find an open space where you can move in. You'll need water as well. Please ensure that you're setting up whichever device you'll be using to connect to our Zoom call so that I can see you fully (from head to toe). This way I can be sure to cue and correct you safely throughout the session to ensure you get the most out of it.
